What is the hottest topic at your school recently? In Hangzhou Yongjin Middle School，it's making money. The school held an activity called “making money” last weekend．About 200 Junior1and Junior 2 students were divided into 30 teams．They went out to make money by selling things．

The Internet is shaping our lives. We already have online shopping services and mobile payment. However, this is just a start. The world’s leading tech companies are planning to build smarter online communities. They discussed this at the World Internet Conference, which was held in Wuzhen.

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) was a hot topic at the conference (会议). If a machine can learn and solve problems as humans do, it can be called AI.

The company Alibaba uses AI technology in its unmanned supermarket in Wuzhen. There is no salesperson in the supermarkets, just a tablet (平板电脑) on a desk that says “ please smile”. If you smile, it gives you a special discount off your foods. The bigger you smile, the more discounts for your goods. Payment is done stigmatically through your Alipay account.
