I’m glad to receive your email telling me you are interested in the conversation between Yan Li and Dr. Silvia Fok. It’s also a great pleasure that both of us have very much interest in Chinese literature and arts.

Just as the old Chinese saying goes, “Literature and arts are family. ” The Mid-Autumn Poetry Festival takes place in Beijing every September and this year there is a conversation on Literature and Arts in the late 1970s in China between Yan Li and Dr. Silvia Fok. Yan Li , born in Beijing, is a writer and painter who moved to the U.S. in 1985 and since 1998 he spends his time between Shanghai and New York while Dr. Silvia Fok. Yan Li’s primary research is Chinese Art and she teaches Art in Hong Kong. By the way, I have booked 2 tickets which tell us it will take place at the Chinese National Art Gallery in Beijing, September 6th.

I’m looking forward to meeting you at the airport if you tell me your flight number.
