After he left Cuba, people transformed his house into a museum, and now many people visit it every year. At the beginning of 1960s, Fidel Castro became president（主席） of Cuba.

Havana was the birthplace of many Afro-cuban dances such as salsa. The music was an exciting mixture of Spanish guitar and African drums. Salsa was once called “Casino” because of the clubs that people danced in. Later, Latin Americans in New York gave it the name “salsa”. Today many people go to Havana to learn salsa and try to dance in the famous clubs.
