It could be an ordinary hotel room like any other one in the small town of Zwolle in the northeast of the Netherlands. Welcome to the first Dutch ice hotel!

“If you want to take a shower before you go to bed, make sure to dry your hair, or they can get frozen. Do not drink too much alcohol and do not eat any heavy food. Make sure to change into dry and warm clothes,” says hotel manger Annet van Limburg to the visitors.

There are three rooms in the hotel, the construction (建造) of which lasted ten days.
