What subject do you worry about most at school? Many students worry about math. Some students can't sleep well the day before a math exam. Others may feel very worried during the exam itself. But there might be a way to make the subject less stressful(有压力的).

"For people who worry about math, posture(姿势)makes a big difference," Erik Peper from

San Francisco State University told the Daily Mail. That's right - sitting up straight(直地)can help you do better in math exams.

Scientists tested 125 college students. They asked them to do a math test while sitting up straight, or sitting in a slumped-over(趴倒的)position. After the test, 56 percent of the students said the exam was easier to do if they were sitting up straight.

Students who were not worried about taking the math exam did not do better from better posture. But they did find that it was more difficult to do math while slumping over, Science Daily reported

Good posture isn't just helpful for taking math exams. Runners, musicians and public speakers can all benefit from better posture. When you feel stressed out, you can also try to sit up straight or stand tall. It can help you feel more positive and focus better.

What can 5G do?

Experts say 5G will help to build future“smart cities ” with the help of sensor networks (传感器网络). Such networks will be able to help the police with the traffic. They can help us know what’s happening in our homes when we are at work. They can even help to make it possible for doctors to perform an operation (手术) far away.

?

In the future, more information and more kinds of information will be travelling across 5G networks. Much of the information could be about persons, businesses or government organization (政府组织). I travel a lot,and I find out different “styles” of giving directions every time I ask “How can I get to the post office?”

In Japan, people use landmarks(地标)in their directions because most streets don't have names. For example, the Japanese will say to travelers,“Go straight ahead and turn left at the hotel. The post office is across from the bus stop.”

In the countryside of the American Midwest, there are no towns or buildings in many places.Instead of landmarks, people will tell you directions and distances. In Kansas, for example, people will say,“Go north two miles.Turn east, and then go another mile.”

People in Los Angeles,California have no idea of distance. They measure(测量)distance in time, not miles.“How far away is the post office?” you ask.“Oh,” they answer.“It's about five minutes from here.”

It's true that a person doesn't know the answer sometimes. What happens in such a situation?A New Yorker might say,“Sorry,I don't know.” But in Yucatan,Mexico,no one answers,“I don't know.” People believe that “I don't know.” is impolite. They usually give an answer, often a wrong one.A tourist can get very, very lost in Yucatan!
