Part of the communication is unspoken. We sometimes show our feelings with our eyes, faces, bodies and attitudes(态度). You should also get together information about other people. If you attend a meeting or an interview, don’t start throwing your opinions at once. Stop for a second. Be sure about what’s going on there. What’s the mood of the others — are they down, up, happy? Do they want to learn from you, or do they show any interest? If you can sense what’s happening to others, you will be better able to reach them. So, listen before you talk.
The fourth suggestion is that you get your energy up. Before the meeting, collect your thoughts about it. You walk calmly through the doorway.
