In 2012, I had just become better from a serious illness when I received an invitation to a writer`s conference in Orlando, Florida. My family suggested that a h1. might be just what the doctor orders, so off I went.

I was rather t2., arriving in the Sunshine State, but I managed to catch a taxi to my hotel and settle in. The next morning, I took another taxi to the shopping centre to buy a few gifts. Later I went to a café to have lunch, but all the tables were full of people. Then I heard a f3. voice saying, “You can s4. my table.”

I thankfully sat down with the old lady and we had a happy lunch together. As the m5. drew to a close, she asked how long I would be in Orlando. I had already told her that I hadn`t hired(雇用) a car, and I hadn`t realized how e6. taking taxis would be, after a while she said, “My dear, don`t use any more taxis. I`m retired and it would be my pleasure to drive you wherever you wish.” I told her that I couldn`t put her to that t7., but she took no notice of my protests(反对). She asked me where I was staying and the next morning she was w8. at my apartment at the exact time to take me to Disney World. She spent some time with me before leaving me to explore(探索) alone. At the end of the day, she returned to take me back to where I stayed. I o9. her money but she refused to take any.

I`ll never forget that wonderful lady who, through her kindness, f10. my short holiday in Florida with wonderful memories.
