Life
is not easy, so I’d like to say, “When anything happens, believe in yourself.”

I was fourteen years old, I
was too nervous to talk to anyone. My classmates often 37 me because of that. I was sad but could
do nothing. Later, 38 happened. It changed my life. It was an
English competition. My mother asked me to take part in it. What a(an) 39 idea! It meant I had to 40 in front of all the teachers and
students of my school.
“ 41 , boy. Believe in yourself. You are
sure to 42 .” Then, Mother and I talked about
many different topics. At last I 43 the topic “ Believe in yourself ”. I
tried my best to 44 all the words and practiced it over
100 times. 45 my mother’s great love, I did well
in the competition. I could 46 believe my ears when the news came that I
had won the first place. I heard the cheers from the teachers and students.
Those 47 who once laughed at me now all said “ 48 ”
to me. My mother gave me a hug and shouted 49 .

then, everything has changed
for me. When I do anything, I try to tell myself to be sure and I will find
myself. This is true not only for a person but also for a country.
