It is over 3 year now since I began study English. At first I found it very difficult. I couldn’t get most of the sounds right, spell the words correctly and remember the rules of the grammar. Under the help of my English teacher and classmates, I have made many progress. Now I am getting well with my English study. Three years’ study have taught me that one can’t learn English well without working hard. We should do more listening and speaking both in and out of the class. At the same time, we must pay enough attention to read as well as writing. Only on this way can we get the best result in the shortest time.

I like eating fruit and vegetables what are of great benefit to our healthy. Not only do they prevent us from falling into ill, but they help us lose weight. I used to hate vegetables, but follow the doctor’s advice, I gradually kicked the bad habit. Just as an old saying going, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away”. However, there are still many children dislike fruit and vegetables. On contrary, influenced by this or that kind of advertisement, many were crazy about junk food. Consequently, they become weaker and weaker instead of getting strong. In my opinion, we must take action to change them.

Last Sunday I saw a worst storm in years. It came sudden and went on for over three hours. After lunch, I went into my room to have a rest. The air was hotter, and all is quiet. Then a strong wind started to blow into my room. Pieces of paper on my desk flew high into the air and some flew out the open window. As I ran out to catch them, big drop of rain began to fall. When I came back into house, it was raining harder and harder. I tried very hard to close the window. Then I heard a loudly crashing(碰撞的)sound from the back of the house.
