I am an e-mail user．When I first started to use the e-mail system. I used to read all my e-mail．I didn’t have much mail．1 was very excited about receiving any e-mail．I gave my friends my e-mail address．Soon I had more mail than 1 wanted．Some of the mail was junk mail．1 was worried．I didn't want my mail to control me．

On the last day of his life, my dog Otto spent that morning of spring napping in the garden. This was always one of his favorite things to do, even before the days when he was too old and too weak to get out of a car by himself.
I probably would have started crying over Otto right then, if my two other little dogs hadn't suddenly raced past. Larry, who was a puppy, got knocked into Otto, then licked Otto's ear, and that got Otto excited, and Otto barked and tried to stand up again, but it was hard for him.

I was sure that I was to be killed. I became terribly nervous. I felt blindly in my pockets to see if there were any cigarettes, which had   31  the search of jailers (people who guard prisoners).
