I'd like to tell you something more about our school sports meet. It was holding on Oct. 6, which was a fine day. There were over 1,000 students and teachers attend it. Wang Lin, a student from my class won the 100-meters race. He finish the race in 12.6     seconds and broke in the school record. The sports meet was really success. Once upon a time there was a boy who fond of reading. However, he was very poor to buy any books. That was the reason that he had to borrow books from a rich man who owned a lot of books. The boy knew clearly that he has to finish reading the books he had borrowed them and return them to the owner as soon as possible. As a high school student, I like to talk with foreigners to practise my oral English but learn more about other cultures. There were two foreign teachers in our school in this term. They often go to the English corner so that we can have a chance to practise a language. I seize every chance to talk them. However, I sometime find they are not so interesting in what I say, and it’s hard for I to choose a suitable topic. I would like some advices about how to communicate proper with foreigners, and what topics to pick.
