When I was in college twenty-five years ago, I spent four summers working in 36 at a luxury hotel in downtown Chicago. 37 , I was a maid.

Ten years ago, Sang Lan, a 17-year-old Chinese gymnast, was competing at the Goodwill Games in New York. This is a true story about two friends.
