Growing up, I didn’t have much ambition and I was wasted a lot of time on video games. One day, with no reason I picked up a book, that was about seven habits of highly successful teenagers. We don’t remember much about the story, but one key concept that true impressed me was the idea of time. The book stressed the importance of use our time wisely. I know it sounds crazily, but during that time I was aimless person. However, after I read that book, I made a decision to spend as many time as possible just reading. I met my friend when we were in graduate school, and we enjoyed hanging out together outside of class. After receiving our degrees, we both left school to live in different states. That was 10 years ago.

The latest Chinese “god song” (an Internet term to describe pop songs that spread virally through the Internet) is still stirring up fierce debates between those who view it as a milestone for Chinese pop music going global and those who regard it as a bad image of China.

Last week, Little Apple, written and performed by Chopsticks Brothers, won the AMA International Song Award and the_duo performed the song at the 2014 American Music Awards in Los Angeles. Another Chinese pop singer, Zhang Jie, won the International Artist Award.

Last weekend, my parents and I went to visit my grandparents who live in the countryside. See us, my grandparents were very happy. I particular like their garden, where is full of vegetables and flowers. They also raise chickens, goose, cats, and dogs.
