We all believe we listen well and yet many times we feel others are not listening to us. However, listening goes in both directions¡ªyou may believe you are listening well, but how often have you completely forgotten what was said to you? ¡¾1¡¿

Make eye contact.

¡¾2¡¿ when People talk, they put out visual clues that add to the conversation and meaning of their words.

Stop talking.

You can't listen, talk and at the same time completely receive the meaning of the other person's words. ¡¾3¡¿

React without words.

Let the other person know you are listening through physical reactions, such as head nods, smiles, frowns and eye movement. ¡¾4¡¿

Concentrate.

Concentrate on what the other person is saying. Clear your mind of other thoughts and emotions and focus on the conversation at hand. Be in the moment of that conversation, and don't think about what you want to say back.

¡¾5¡¿

Behave as an effective listener. The more you continue to behave as a listener, the more you will be an effective listener.

A. Don't break in.

B. Act as a listener.

C. How to say back is also important.

D. Make eye contact with the person who is talking to you.

E. There are a few ways to become a more effective listener.

College students have few ways to pay their college fees. Many students have their parents to do it. Some students may apply to a bank loan and others will try to find part-time jobs in and out of the campus. Apart from this, many good student can win a scholarship, in this way they can pay at least part of the fees. As to me, I will let my parents pay half of their fees because they are that rich. Beside my study, I will take up a part-time job by teach some high school students math, physics, chemistry and English, as I¡¯m very good at these important subjects. Of course I will also work very hard at my lessons in order to I can easily win a scholarship.

The creative projects of World Food Program (WFP) focused on preventing hunger from taking hold in the future and breaking the cycle of hunger. Here are some of the ways in which we work to prevent hunger in the future:

School Meals

As well as directly addressing hunger, School Meals projects encourage families to keep their children in school and help them build better futures. If children aren¡¯t hungry they will concentrate on their lessons. With a solid education growing children have a better chance of finding their own way out of hunger. These projects benefit girls especially. For more information: www.wfp.org/schools meals.

Food for Assets£¨ÓÐÓõÄÈË£©

WFP¡¯s Food for Assets projects provide the hungry with food to lay the foundation for a better tomorrow. When poor farmers no longer have to worry about the next meal, they have the time and energy to build irrigation£¨¹à¸È£© systems that can increase production. Similarly, Food for Training projects allow the poor to devote time to learning skills that will sustain£¨Î¬³Ö£© them economically in the future. For more information: www.wfp.org/food-assets.

HIV/AIDS

WFP uses its food rations(Åä¸ø) to reduce the blow of HIV and AIDS. The agency distributes its rations to people living with HIV and AIDS, so they can keep providing for their families for longer and have time to transfer vital knowledge and skills to the growing number of AIDS children--the next generation of food providers in developing countries. For more information: www.wfp.org/hiv-aids.

Purchase for Progress

WFP buys large amounts of food in developing countries. It has this purchasing power and uses it to help poor farmers contact reliable markets where they can get competitive prices for their produce. With secure markets, farmers will be encouraged to produce more and innovate(´´ÐÂ).The knock-on effect is producing more food for everyone. For more information: www.wfp.ofp/purchase-progress.
