【答案】Lotus Hill, located in the eastern outskirt of Panyu City, is a famous scenic spot in Guangdong. Covering an area of 2.33 square km and surrounded by lakes, it has a gorgeous landscape. With a history of 400 years, it was first built in 1612 in the Ming Dynasty. On the hill sits a statue of the Goddess of Mercy, 41 meters in height, which is the largest of its kind in the world. If you have a chance to visit Guangzhou, do remember to pay a visit to Lotus Hill, especially during June through August, when over 100 kinds of lotus flowers from different parts of China are on show.

University — the best days of my life! I made lots of friends in my student dorm, went to great parties, joined the debating society... and, well, I did some work too — but I must admit that my lecturers were very patient with my tardiness (拖沓).
