I hope the lakes will freeze over soon. W: So do I. By the way, did you hear the weather forecast this morning? M: Yes. It said partly cloudy today, with a wind from the northwest. Text 10 It's only two weeks now until we go on our camping holiday, so this morning I want to talk about the clothing and the equipment that we're going to take with us. We'll be sleeping in tents, but the tents and the groundsheets which we need to keep us dry will already be at the camping ground when we arrive. However, you each will have to take a sleeping bag to sleep in at night, and I suggest a warm ore as the nights can be very cold in the hills in March. You'll need warm clothing too, and a pair of walking shoes. Walking in the hills can be dangerous because there are a lot of loose stones there which you can easily trip over. So make sure that you bring a pair of good walking shoes. The food that we need for the holiday will all be there ready for us, but you each will need to take a plate, a knife, a spoon and a bowl. |
