Last week,our classmates had a discussion about the good and bad sides of setting off fire?works during the spring festival.

As we know,Spring Festival is the most im?portant holiday for us Chinese. In order to enliven the festival atmosphere,it is reasonable and wise to allow people to set off fireworks. But we still had different viewpoints on the problem. Some of us believe that setting off fireworks during the spring festival is Chinese cultural tradition and it certainly adds pleasure and joy to the festival. What's more,it may help the people to get rid of evil things. But others hold that setting off fire?works may not only cause air and noise pollution but also waste a lot of money. What is worse,it sometimes causes terrible accidents to children and to our property when playing carelessly.
