Xiao Hua's father bought her the new bike the day before yesterday, which it made her very excited. So she rode it fast on the road. Once upon a time, there was a wonderful old man who loved everything on the land —— animals and plants.

One day while walking through the woods, the old man found a cocoon of a butterfly. He took it home. China is home to the invention of silk and has a long tradition of producing fine materials for clothing. Not all clothing in ancient or contemporary（ 当代的） China is made of silk, however.
