Most of the things I really need to know about how to live, what to do and how to be, I learned in kindergarten. 1 was not at the top of the graduate school mountain, 2 there in the sandbox at nursery school. I had this exchange with my 6-year-old last week.
Him: Mom, we have to start buying Danimals.
Me: Why?

At this time of year, parents buy licensed school supplies.With so much marketing around us, it can be tough to stop the tide.
