7.Forget famous goal celebration such as"The Robot"by Peter Crouch and"The Dive"by Juergen Klinsmann,here comes the South African"Diski dance".The Diski dance,which is performed through heading and kicking an imaginary ball,may be a goal celebration to watch in the following matches.
South Africa's Siphiwe Tshabalala and his teammates performed this different dance when they celebrated his goal against Mexico in the opening World Cup game on Friday.The dance is already popular on YouTube and many soccer fans may want to learn the moves.
Even South Africa's President Jacob Zuma has learnt the Diski dance which could be better than Cameroon Roger Milla's corner flag dance celebration in the 1990FIFA World Cup.US actor John Travolta performed the dance shortly after landing his Boeing 707at Lanseria airport,north of Johannesburg,on Wednesday morning.

The word Diski is the word used by the local people for soccer and may also describe the local style of football which focuses on dribbling(带球) and other tricks.

18.Dear Rudyard Kipling,
Father has consistently tried to instill(灌输) a sense of being a man in me ever since I was very young.When I reached the age of twelve he began taking me to his auto body shop.He told me this tough job would build me into a man of character.But this all changed a year ago when my mother passed away and stumbled upon your poem,If.
My mother was the person who could understand me.If I ever got tired during my work hours at the shop I could call her to come and pick me up.It was my mother who instilled the love of literature and languages in me.My mother spoke six languages fluently and had thousands of books,which still sit in the attic of our house.It was in this"library"of hers that I picked up a book of poetry from a cold metal shelf and found your poem,If.
Because of the death of my mother I felt alone,as if I belonged to no family.The image of a man was completely shattered when I saw   him break down and cry,which looked so pathetic(凄惨的)and"unmanly"compared to his usual stoic(禁欲主义者)and emotionless countenance.Yet I remained silent remembering the golden words:"If you can keep your head when all about you/Are losing theirs and blaming it on you…you'll be a Man,my son!"
If reminded me to remain calm and"keep my head"because I wanted to be a man and wanted to be the one supporting my family.I sacrificed my ability to compete in a winter sport so that I could stay home and cook for my family and clean the house.My father saw this and our relationship has grown much stronger.He finally respected me for who I was and told me he was proud to have a man for his son.Through this poem,I realize that to be a man is not about putting weights on a barbell(杠铃)but rather putting the weight of others on your back.
Your poem was so much more than just a simple list of guidelines or morals that some see it as; it really changed my life and my relationship with my dad.

Karen Pickering
Swimming World Champion
"I swim 4 hours a day,6 days a week.I manage that sort of workload by putting it on top of my diary. This is the key to success-you can't follow a career in any field without being well-organized.List what you believe you can achieve.Trust yourself, write down your goals for the day, however small they are,and you'll be a step closer to achieving them."
Kirsten Best
Poet & Writer
"When things are getting hard,a voice inside my head tells me that I can't achieve something. Then, there are other distractions, such as family or hobbies. The key is to concentrate. When I feel tense,it helps a lot to repeat words such as‘calm',‘peace'or‘focus',either out loud or silently in my mind.It makes me feel more in control and increases my confidence. This is a habit that can become second nature quite easily and is a powerful psychological(心理的) tool"

2.Glaucoma(青光眼)is a major cause of blindness around the world,especially in developing countries.The World Health Organization says glaucoma is a greater public health challenge than cataracts (白内障),because the blindness caused by the latter can be cured after operations.
Glaucoma is a disease that makes people around the world lose their sight,and they usually don't even know they have the disease until it has permanently destroyed at least 40percent of their sight.The process is usually so painless and subtle(不明显的),so people don't notice it.Actually,the simplest medical test can discover it.
"It is the leading cause of blindness in the United States.In Hispanics and in African-Americans,it's the second leading cause of blindness and so is the case in the Chinese and Indians."said Dr.Alan Robin,a specialist in treating glaucoma."The glaucoma we see in sub-Saharan Africa is a much more aggressive blinding disease than the glaucoma we see in Americans or even African-Americans in the United States."he said.
Dr.Eric Fleischer also sees these differences  at Medstar Washington Hospital Center."Pretty much anybody who has ancestors in Africa has an increased chance of developing glaucoma."Age is another thing that may lead to glaucoma,although people of all ages carl get it.
Glaucoma is a group of diseases that commonly produce pressure in the eye.An eye is sort of like a watch.And behind the face of the watch,liquid is made.It goes through your pupil (瞳孔)and into me front of the watch between the face and the crystal.There's an area around the edge of the watch that drains(使排出)the liquid.When that drain is blocked,the liquid can't 1eave the eye as fast as it is produced.The rising pressure within the eye damages and eventually kills the optic (视觉的) nerve.The result is blindness.
Fortunately,if caught early,glaucoma can be controlled.Glaucoma is not curable.but as researchers worldwide leam more about it,they grow more hopeful that glaucoma can one day be cured or even prevented.

12.About ten men in every hundred suffer from color blindness in some way.Women are luckier; only about one in two hundred is affected in this matter.Perhaps, after all,it is safer to be driven by a woman!
There are different forms of color blindness. In some cases a man may not be able to see deep red.He may think that red, orange and yellow are all shadows of green.Sometimes a person cannot tell the difference between blue and green. In rare cases an unlucky man may see everything in shades of green-a strange world indeed.
Color blindness in human beings is a strange thing to explain. In a single eye there are millions of very small things called"cones".These help us to see in a bright light and to tell difference between colors. There are also millions of"rods",but these are used for seeing when it is near dark. They show us shape but no color.
Some insects have favorite colors.Mosquitoes prefer blue to yellow.A red light will not attract insects, but a blue lamp will.In a similar way human beings also have favorite colors.Yet we are lucky. With the aid of the cones in our eyes we can see many beautiful colors by day,and with the aid of the rods we can see shapes at night. One day we may even learn more about the invisible colors around us.
