17.A group of people from Denmark have formed the B-Society.According to them,human beings are divided into types:A-People,and B-People.A-People have no problem getting up in the morning,and operate much better earlier in the day.However,B-people are better later in the day."I'm useless early in the morning,"says one of the members of the B-Society."All I can do is drink coffee,and stare into space.People used to get up early because they had to feed the animals.But I haven't got any cows or chickens,so I can sleep late,"She adds.Since the society was set up,the B-Society has welcomed several thousand members.
Right now,the B-Society is fighting hard for businesses to join its B-certification (证明) list.Companies that are"B-certified"basically give their employees the opportunity to come in when they want.In some companies,employees arrive at any time up to 3:30pm---each to their own rhythm (节奏).
And it is not just businesses that are benefiting from this.Teenagers who can't get out of bed in the morning,and parents who never quite get the kids to school on time,can now benefit from B-classes.From next year,a school in Copenhagen will offer classes which start later in the day (at 10instead of eight).And even the government seems to like the idea.
The B-Society was founded by Camilla Kring,a professor from the University of Copenhagen.On her website,she says,"When B-people's work rhythms are considered at the work place,their productivity (生产力) and quality of life is increased,which can increase productivity for the entire organization."
She adds that,"B-Society will create a new daily rhythm in schools and other institutions (机构) as an alternative to the current rhythm of‘early at work and early at home'.We are working for the establishment of kindergartens,primary and secondary schools as well as universities that open between 10am and 8pm."

12.Think Positive and Feel Positive
When you're in a stressful situation, are you confident or unsafe?Do you react positively or negatively?
(71)A  A study by researchers at the University of Notre Dame found that negative thinking, and depression coming from it,can be catching in certain circumstances.
For example, the researchers studied 103 freshman college roommates who'd been paired casually.(72)E     Specifically,the researchers measured the subject's likelihood to see negative events as a reflection of their abilities and disadvantages.
After only six months,it became clear that thinking patterns and styles can be catching.(73)D
And students paired with more positive thinking roommates were more likely to become more positive in their thinking and report less depression.
(74)B   So they might be particularly accessible to adopting the thought and behavior patterns of people around them-perhaps more so than people in less intense situations at other stages of life.
But maybe not.Other research has shown that,in general, people are affected by how those around them think.(75)F

A.The answer may depend in part on whom you're around.
B.Now college freshman are in a unique, life changing environment.
C.However, think positive and feel positive is quite important for college students.
D.Students paired with a negative-thinking roommate"caught"that style and became more depressed themselves.
E.They measured each roommate's cognitive weakness,or tendency to give in to negative thinking and depression.
F.So surrounding a negative, depressed person with people who think positively could be a powerful form of treatment.
G.But what was to the researchers'embarrassment was that the subjects never talked with each and stayed apart from each other for most of the time.
