As your Chinese friends, I would like to give you a briefly introduction to it. Taiwan Island, the largest island in our country, which lies west of the Pacific Ocean, with the East Sea surrounded its southeast. In the west of the island is Fujian, other province of China.

Taiwan has an area of about 3600 square kilometers and the population of over 20,000,000. The scenery is such beautiful and the climate is so pleasant what travelers come in a continuous stream for a visit from all over the world, I am sure you will have a lot fun there.

It was lucky to have a teacher at home. Mom was a teacher most of her life. You may know the English letters A, B and C. But do you know there are people called ABC? You may like eating bananas. But did you know there is such a thing as a “banana person”? How strange! Are these people from “another earth”? No. They are just Chinese people like you and me.

ABC means American-born Chinese. An ABC is a Chinese, but was born in the United States. Sometimes, people call an ABC a “banana person”. A banana is yellow outside and white inside. How You Can Be Calm Even When Things Get Rough

1. Cry if you need to---for a while.
