Her other money-saving methods include using soap to wash herself after using the toilet, taking surveys online to earn gift cards, participating in medical trials, testing products for free samples, cutting her own hair, washing her clothes while she showers, and running to work to avoid using subway. “I was very angry about the latest round of subway fare rises,” she said.

Hashimoto does have her limits. Her furniture is a collection of found free gifts— but she won’t take an old mattress for fear of bedbugs, and sleeps instead on used yoga mats. And she won’t stay in a relationship with a boyfriend for free meals.“I’ve been in a relationship where I stayed because I was getting free gifts, but I got out of it,” she says. “It’s better to be single and dumpster-diving than to be with someone you can’t stand.”

Children are known to be very keen observers and once they are interested in something, it is very likely to stay with them for life. The role model becomes their standard of measurement.

Because they follow the actions of their role models so closely, children adopt the personality and attitude of their role models. Children learn to like or dislike certain things by mimicking the personality and attitude of the people they admire.

One reason why children keep changing their answers to “what would you like to be when you grow up” is that they are influenced by individuals in a certain field.

On Nov.18th,1908, three men went up in a balloon. They started early in London. The headman was Augusta Gaudron, and the other two men were Tannar and Maitland. They had a big balloon and they were ready for a long way.

When thinking about placing a human being in space, one of the most important questions was how to design special clothing needed to protect a person from the dangers of the space environment. The cold of space will freeze skin in a short time. The fierce heat of the sun can cause serious burns. The lack of atmosphere can cause gases in the body to expand(扩大) and even burst. I have to travel every day from Souk Road to the airport. Two buses travel along their route: the number 49 and number 16. But by the time the number 16 bus reaches Souk Road it is always full, so I can’t get on it. I have to wait for the number 49, because sometimes there are empty seats on it.
