（1）On my way to school

As a Senior 3 student, I am punctual for every class but an unexpected thing that happened yesterday morning changes it.

It was cold so every pedestrian rushed to their destination, including me. When arriving at the school gate, I found it was 2 minutes before the class began. I was heading for my classroom hurriedly when I saw an old man fall down. He looked helpless. Something in my heart urged me to help him out and not until his son came did I leave for my classroom. Of course, I was late but I didn’t regret.

I believe that a world full of love depends on all of us. Only by assisting each other can we enjoy a more pleasant life.

Every one has a dream and we are on the way to achieving it whether the way is smooth or tough.

As a Senior 3 student, I have the same dream as my peers that I can be admitted to an ideal university. In the past three years, I have done everything I can to equip myself with what I have learnt from my teachers. Not only have I enjoyed the pleasure of study but also I have got closer to my dream. Of course, anxiety and pressure did discourage me but with the encouragement of my teachers and classmates, I made it.

I’m sure that I still have a long way to go to achieve my dream. No matter how difficult it is, I will have it come true. As the proverb says, “ Where there ’s a will, there’s a way.”
