Hi, Sad Mother,
    I have learned it that your daughter told lies to you. However, you needn't worry. It's common for
teenagers to tell lies.
     I think the reason why your daughter told a lie is that you are strict with her and she is afraid you will be
upset and punish her if she tells you the truth. Besides, maybe some of her friends lie to their parents and
your daughter follows. Here are some suggestions for you. Firstly, you should make her know being
honest is more important than scores. Secondly, don't be too strict and allow her to make some minor
mistakes.
     Don't be too nervous. Everything will be ok, isn't it?
