I’m Li Hua, and it’s my honor to give a speech about typhoon prevention. As we know, typhoon is one natural disaster that often occurs in our province. Every time it happens, it always results in heavy losses to people’s life and property. It is vital for us to learn how to protect ourselves from its damages.

Firstly, for typhoon, prevention is more important than any other measure. Therefore, before the coming of typhoon we are supposed to pay close attention to the reports about it and take preventive measures in advance. Secondly, the people living in the low-lying areas should leave there to protect themselves from the flood.
