How are you! I’m glad to have received your e – mail. You said you would visit Qingdao during the time of Olympic Games in 2008, which is a wise choice.

These years great changes have taken place in our city. Highway net connecting each parts of the city will be completed. The old part of the city has been rebuilt with wide streets and many street gardens. The east part of Qingdao has been built into a new and modern district. You can see high buildings and skyscrapers here and there.

A lot more trees. Flowers and grass will be planted in many places to make our city more beautiful. We will use clean energy and try our best to make waste water clean and reuse it. In 2008, you’ll find our city as beautiful as a garden, the sky above it even blue and the water even clear.
