I'm a senior high school student，named Li Hua．Nowadays，it was fashionable for us students to have iPads．Using an iPad，you can listen to music，download learning materials，and so on．Obvious，it greatly helps us at our studies．Some students，however，bring their iPads to the classroom and listen to music without earphones，that makes teachers and other students greatly annoying．Some of them even waste time in class play video games．

High Bar Harbor，New Jersey

Caladesi Beach，Florida

I may own every cheese slicer ever made．I prefer a wire type cheese cutter so I can cut slices that work well on a piece of bread and sandwich．
This cheese slicer is great for both tasks．It even has adjustable tension on the two cutting wires．A point of information：I did break a wire cutting a very hard piece of cheese with black pepper．Good news，the wire is replaceable，and I was able to purchase new wires to fix it．Maybe best to use on softer cheeses．Lessons learned．But，highly recommended for every other use except for those extremely hard cheeses．

I purchased this ash bucket recommended by my friend and have found it invaluable．Previously I had an old bucket that got left outside and usually filled up with rain and became a mess to clean．This ash bucket has a raised bottom and thermal insulation（隔热层） to prevent any accidental hot coals in your ash to damage your floor or cause a fire．You can store this bucket indoors since the lid is nice and tight．

From another group of bees given the chance to solve the task without any training，only two of 110were successful．
Another group of bees was then allowed to observe the trained bees pulling the strings，and 60percent of them successfully learned the skill．Finally，trained bees were put in colonies，and the scientists found the technique spread successfully to a majority of the colony's worker bees．
Lars Chittka，a Queen Mary University professor who guided the project，said the team is interested in figuring out the brain processes behind the bees'learning and teaching skills．

15．Deep in the islands on the Andaman Sea，and along the west coast of Thailand live small tribes called the Moken people，also known as sea-nomads （海上牧民）．Their children spend much of their day in the sea，diving for food．They are uniquely adapted to this job-because they can see underwater．And it turns out that with a little practice，their unique vision might be accessible to any young person．
In 1999，Anna Gislen at the University of Lund，in Sweden was delving different aspects of vision，when a colleague suggested that she might be interested in studying the unique characteristics of the Moken tribe．
Gislen and her six-year old daughter travelled to Thailand and lived within the Moken communities，who mostly lived on houses sat upon poles．Gislen set up an experiment to test just how good the children's underwater vision really was．The kids were excited about joining in．

    It is really important to protect the ocean．The ocean covers 70 percent of the Earth's surface．A clean ocean not only helps animals in the ocean survive but also helps us survive．
    By noon，the sun was shining and the temperature was rising．The volunteers that had spread out across Venice Beach were coming back to throw the trash they had collected into the truck．I could not believe how much trash there was．All together we collected more than 135 bags of trash．I do hope that next time people go to the beach，they will stop littering．
