Listening to books does benefit us students in many aspects. To begin with, it provides students with a different way of learning, thus arousing the students’ interest. Besides, students have access to more materials, which helps to broaden their horizons. Also, compared with reading, listening to books is more friendly to our over-used eyes. Lastly, it can happen anytime in any place, which is efficient and time-saving to our study.

However, the new approach has its disadvantages. On one hand, the information we get is less impressive and can not last long. On the other hand, it leaves us little time and space for deep appreciation and reflection.

Personally speaking, listening to books should only serve as an aid to our study .I strongly recommend that we should choose appropriate media based on different learning purposes. For example, academic reports and classic literature should still be read on paper.
