A student who is excessively(过分地) fond of computer game can not see anything suddenly. This is the title of a newspaper report which I have read in China Daily recently. Accordingly, the fact that students being on the rise spent their spare time playing computer game has aroused great concern and should be given enough consideration. To account for the above-mentioned case, several effects arisen from computer game ought to be taken seriously. To begin with, taking to computer game too much impair players’ health especially eyes. In addition, the growing number of students neglect their studies, idle(虚度) their time and even commit crimes thanks to computer game. Let’s look at an example. A student, who had wanted to play computer game but had little money, made a reckless move to waylay and rob.

Computer game, in some sense, gives rise to some undesirable results unexpectedly. Therefore, no issue is as crucial(至关紧要的) to individual and national survival and prosperity as bringing computer game under control in China.

    Having read a newspaper report about a youngster who is greatly addicted to computer game losing his eyesight, the author strongly argued for the enough focus on the issue that youths should not play too much computer game.

Nowadays more and more teenagers are fond of playing computer games, and some of them are even addicted to those games. Should students play computer games? Opinions about it differ. Some think it is a way of relaxing after a day’s study. Nevertheless, others insist that playing computer games is a waste of time and energy. What’s worse, some of the games are too violent.

Honestly speaking, I’m strongly against computer games. Undoubtedly they will take up a great deal of our time, which may greatly affect our study. Besides, it’s bad for eyes if we spend too much time in playing them. The worst thing is that some games send wrong messages to the younger generation, which is of the greatest harm. Although we are burdened with so much work, we can find other ways to relax ourselves, such as doing sports, reading, listening to music and so on.
