Tesla started working in the electrical fields before he came to work for Thomas Edison in the United

died in debt on January 7,1943.
Tesla's work became less and less known to the public after his death,but since the 1990s,his fame
has come back in popular culture.In 2005,he was listed as the top"100Greatest Americans".His work
and great inventions are also at the center of other theories and have also been used to support various
UFO theories and so on.In 1960,in honor of Tesla,the"tesla"was used in the SI unit(国际标准单
位)measure for magnetic field strength.
