Late one night，as Hill lay staring at the ceiling．Robert began to cough．Robert was choking on the liquids in his lungs．Hill watched it as Robert struggled to call for help．Listening from across the room，Hill never moved．In less than five minutes，the coughing and choking stopped，along with the sound of breathing．
The following morning the nurse arrived to bring water for their baths．When she found the lifeless body of Robert，she was sad and called the hospital attendant to take it away．As soon as it seemed appropriate，Hill asked if he could be moved next to the window．The nurse was happy to make the switch，and then she left him alone．Slowly，painfully，Hill got himself up．Nervous，he slowly turned to look out of the window beside the bed but only saw a blank wall．
