When I was in Grade 8, my family move to Seattle, so I had to go to a new school. Being in a unfamiliar place, I felt lonely and frightening. Worse still, some subjects were so difficult to learn from that I had no idea how to adapt to the new environment. My teachers noticed my problems but often encouraged me. With their help, I made some progresses in my lessons. However, it wasn’t easy make friends. My classmates had already known each other. I found it hardly to fit in.
