When we can see well, we do not think our eyes very

often. It is only when we can't see perfectly that we

realize what important our eyes are. People who are

nearsighted can only see things that are very closed to

their eyes. Many people who do lots of close work became

nearsighted. Then they have to wear glass in order to

see distant objects clear. People who are farsighted

suffer just the opposite problem They can see things

that are far away, but they have difficult reading a

book when they hold it at arm's length. If they want

to do much reading, they must wear glasses too.

I bought a clock in a shop on last Sunday afternoon.

This morning, however, I found that it was not worked.

So I went back the shop with it. The shop assistant

asked me whether I had not followed the instructions and

used it in the right way. I told him I knew how to use.

After he hears this, he tried it and also found that

there was anything wrong with the clock. Then I wanted

him to take it back and gave the money back to me,

and he refused. He asked me to change it for another

one. Finally I have got a new clock and it works well now.
