题目内容

We have to accept the truth: sometimes, we just want to shout out loud.

For example, we all have days like this: our dog has made a mess on the floor we just cleaned, or our friend called to tell us he or she couldn't come at the last minute when we had cooked dinner for him or her.We may be really angry but we tried to bear things like those. According to ancient Chinese wisdom (智慧).We should shout in a loud voice instead of keeping silent. In fact, it's good for our health.

“Chinese people have passed on the practice from ancient times to now as a part of traditional medicine.” said Mrs.Li, a 60-year-old woman from Hangzhou .“My parents taught me to do this. It's a part of our folk (民间的) culture.”

Mrs.Li is a member of a group of people who love shouting. Each morning, she and some of her friends climb to top of the hill, and let out loud shouts before starting their daily exercise. They believe that shouting is good exercise for their lungs (肺) and it brings them a lot of fun.

“Sometimes I shout out and other shout back,” said Mrs.Gu, another shouting lover.“It makes you happy. You laugh and then you feel very comfortable.”

Dr. Peter Calafiura, an American doctor, agrees that shouting can have a positive influence on people's health. So , next time you start your morning run, why not try to shout out first? It will make you healthier.

When you watch TV and play video games you make global(全球的)warming worse! It may seem hard to believe, but when electricity is made, so are greenhouse gases(温室气体). This means that every time you use electricity you help make global warming worse!

Cars are also making global warming worse. They burn fossil fuels(化石燃料)in their engines, and send lots of greenhouse gases into the air.2-1-c-n-j-y

(2)Plant trees. Not only is it a fun thing to do, but it is also a great way to lower the number of greenhouse gases in the air. Trees take carbon dioxide out of the air when they grow.

(3)Don’t throw away your rubbish, try to recycle it. If rubbish is not recycled, it is put in the ground. There it rots(腐烂)and makes a greenhouse gas called methane(甲烷).So try to recycle cans, bottles, plastic bags and newspapers. It’ll make you feel great! And it’ll help the Earth.

Detective Wolf and Miss Fox

Detective Wolf has waited in the doorway all the morning. He is going to meet Miss Fox. She bought a bag of diamonds from Africa. A few hours ago, someone told the police that a group of thieves would try to steal the diamonds, so the police asked Detective Wolf to make sure Miss Fox and her diamonds would be safe.

Miss Fox arrived in the airport. Detective Wolf quickly helped her get into the police car and took her to the hotel. While they were talking, Detective Wolf noticed that Miss Fox was left-handed. Half and hour later, they got to the room, two policemen checked it over and made sure there wasn’t anyone else in it. Miss Fox said she was tired and wanted to have a shower. She asked Detective Wolf and the policemen to keep the diamonds for her. Half an hour later, Miss Fox didn't get out. Detective Wolf felt a little strange. Just then he got a call from the airport─a woman was found in the toilet on the plane. She said she was Miss Fox and reported the criminal was left-handed.
