Dear Ralph,

I’m a middle school student. I do well in my studies, but I have a problem that troubles me all the time. It is the relationship between my mother and me. My mother is a university professor, who works really hard. She’s very strict with me, but has quite little time to talk to me . I love her, but I’m a little afraid of her because she loses her temper easily. As a result, I don’t know how to communicate with her. Maybe it’s because we have sseldom sat down and exchanged our feelings and thoughts. I hope we can know more about each other and understand each other better. What’s more, I do hope we’ll be closer. What can I do ?
