In recent years, studying abroad has become popular among high school students in our country. Tens of thousands of Chinese students have gone to foreign countries to study. Many others are trying their best to apply to study abroad.
Some people are in favour of this trend. In the first place, those studying abroad can learn a foreign language quickly in a good language environment. Second, they can learn much more advanced knowledge of science and technology from foreign countries. Besides, they can meet people from different countries and experience different cultures, which may help broaden their views/horizons.
