　　It is great to receive your email．Now I'd like tell you something which took place in my school yesterday．In the afternoon we hold a grown－up ceremony for our coming 18 years old birthday．At first we made an oath that as grown－up we should have a sense of duty for our social from now on．Then we showed our thanks for to our parents who had gone through hardships to bring us up and teachers who have been educating us patient．And our teachers also gave us cards expressed their good wishes to us．Finally, we put on wonderful performances, singing or dancing．We learned a lot from the activity．I think it's very important for us．I will never remember the day in my life．

When I was ten years old, I went to Dali with two American．I became their guide．First, we went to the Erhai Lake．They wanted to look around the lake by the boat．After buy the tickets, we got into a boat．We went around seeing the beautiful sight．After that, we went shopping．The sellers couldn't spoke English．Though it was very harder, I tried my best listen to their words carefully and translate the sentences．They bought some little things with their help．Next, we went to a small zoo but took some pictures．When we felt hunger, we went out and had lunch．After lunch, we visited some old house and learned more about Chinese history．

We can do a lot in our daily life to achieve the goal of low-carbon life. First, we'd better turn off
lights if possibly and spent less time watching TV or surfing the Internet. Save water also matters
a lot. Beside, we should sort out the rubbish, hoping that we might recycle some of them, which
will surely benefit from us a great deal. In addition, we suggest using handkerchief instead of tissues
so that we can prevent more trees from cut down. More importantly, when we go out, walking,
riding bikes or taking buses should be our first choice, which contribute to a clean world.

     Anita Mei was a very famous pop singer in Hong Kong. Together with her mother, she
began to perform in the age of four. In the early 1980s, she took part in a local sing competition
and won the first prize. The song “Bad Girl” made him famous. The following years saw Anita
make many records. Some of her song were very popular. She was always ready to help others, but
she made a lot of good friends. When SARS hits Hong Kong, she organized several concerts with
other pop stars call on Hong Kong people to brave face the disease. Sadly, Anita died of the cancer
in 2003. The lady whom was brave and beautiful will always be remembered by people.

     After watch "English TV" last Sunday morning, I phoned to my classmate and told him to go to see
a film in the afternoon. Before the film was over, we returned to school to do our lessons. While we are
having a rest in the corridor, I saw Mr. Liu, my head teacher. He told me that we had made some
progresses in English, but my Chinese lagged behind, especially my Chinese composition. He suggested

     It was my birthday last Friday. I invite some friends to have dinner with me m one ot my favorite
restaurants. It was complete full when we went in, so we had to wait. Luckily, after what seemed ten
minutes, a group of tourist at a comer table got up and left off. As we sat down at the table, I noticed
a larger brown envelope on one of the chairs. I picked up. It felt very heavy. Probably it were full of
important papers. I handed the envelope to one of the waiters. They hurried down the street after the
tourists but managed to catch up with them before they were disappeared.
