It’s so nice that the winter vocation is drawing near, announcing the approach of the Spring Festival. Dear friends,
It’s so nice that the winter vacation is drawing near, announcing the approach of the Spring Festival. As we know, the Spring Festival is a time for us Chinese to have a good rest as well as a family get-together. But at the same time people may forget the problem of health, environment protection and safety. Here I have some suggestions for all of you.
As for yourselves, you should finish all the homework that you have been assigned as well as take appropriate amount of rest. It is important to develop good living habits during the vacation. As for your friends and relatives, you should tell them not to smoke or drink too much. If necessary, warn them of the danger of smoking and excessive drinking. They will surely follow your advice if they become conscious that a lot of deadly diseases, like lung cancer, are due to smoking or passive smoking. What’s more, you can arouse their awareness of taking up a low-carbon lifestyle. Tell them to sort out the rubbish, to turn off the tap and electrical appliances when going out, and not to cook more food than they can consume. After all, spring festival is a time to celebrate rather than a time to waste. Last but not least, remind everybody to avoid the risk of fire and other disasters.
