Nowadays, most of my classmates aren’t willing to communicate with their parents or share their inner thoughts with their parents and always find it hard to seek support and advice from them, the reason of which is that they feel that they are not equal in position and parents lay too much emphasis on the children’s study.

In my opinion, the relationship between parents and children should be one filled with love, care and understanding, in which parents and children are equal and they can show respect for each other and exchange ideas freely. To build a relationship of this kind , parents should become friends of their children while children ought to place more trust in their teachers and give voice to their inner feelings frankly. Only in this way can we enjoy a warm relationship between parents and children.
