Nowadays, the pressures on schools and teachers are often passed on to students and parents. Students are tested more and assigned more homework. Excessive homework often leaves no time for students to have fun or do something for themselves. Many parents spend at least three hours every night going through their children's work.

When teachers don't give homework, some parents will go to the school and complain.
