　　Some officials in Shandong Province said they received 80,000 fewer applications this year than in 2008, a drop of more than 10 percent．Fewer applicants for the College Entrance Exam implies the quality of education is getting lower．

　　The exam is not as fair as it was before．Shandong Province and Henan Province －the two provinces with the largest population to take the exam, most of whom are from rural areas－saw the sharpest drop in the number of applicants．

　　The enrollment scores for students from these two provinces are always the highest in China, which made things worse．It is the unfair system that has led students from these two provinces to give up the exam．

　　In the last 30 years, college students from rural areas decreased by almost half．The College Entrance Exam is in danger of losing public credit．

　　On the other hand, the quality of higher education is dropping, too, as China expands the enrollment quota to colleges and universities．Also, universities and colleges charge students high fees and have turned their focus from quality of education toward pursuing profits．

example, there was one Oregon beaver that really was a worker.It decided to fix a hole in a manmade
