The Internet helps students make as many friends as they want easily. Chatting online, students can express their feelings and opinions more freely. Thus they can also ease their anxiety from their studies. Some students even get help with their foreign language studies.
However, each coin has two sides. Making friends online can no doubt waste much of students’ precious time, which should be spent more meaningfully on study. Besides, some students sometimes get cheated online.
In my opinion, students should place their study, health and safety before other things. As for friendship, we can readily find it in our classmates and other people around us.
