     该短文中共有10处错误，每句中最多有两处，错误涉及一个单词的增加、删除或修改。
增加：在缺词处加一个漏字符号(^)，并在此符号下面写出该加的词。
删除：把多余的词用斜线(＼)划掉。
修改：在错的词下画一横线，并在该词下面写出修改后的词。
注意：(1) 每处错误及其修改均仅限一词； 
          (2) 只允许修改10处，多者（从第11处起）不计分。
     Today we went to climb the West Hill. Early in morning we started out and arrived an hour late.
Then we began to climb. The hill was high and some of us got tired soon, and all of us were very
excited. We cheered happily when we got the top. We had our lunch there and had enjoyed ourselves
very much. Unfortunate, when we walked down the hill, we were caught by a rain. We remained
calmly, shared umbrellas and raincoats and walked carefully. Finally we both reached the parking lot
safely. In spite of the unexpecting rain and wind, we had a good time.

I live in a small town in the south. This is a typically Chinese town. There are only two main
streets which across in the middle of the town. Around the town stand a high wall, that was built
long ago, and it is still possibly to walk along it. No motorcars allowed in the business streets,
which makes shopping very easier and safer. On warm days some small restaurants put table and
chairs outside the houses to let people to take a rest and have some tea or ice-cream. There were
no tall buildings but some beautiful parks.

Did you enjoy yourself yesterday? I suppose you did. But I’d like to tell you how a bad day I had yesterday. Nothing just went wrong. In the morning, my alarm clock didn’t ring, so I woke up an hour late. I was in such hurry that I burnt my hand when I was cooking the breakfast. Then I ran out of the house to catch the 8:30 buses. This is the bus I usually take. But, you may laugh, I missed it of course. I am very unhappy and scared as well because teacher hates the students coming late to school. So I ran three miles to school only to discover that nobody was there. The school was quiet but peaceful. Our classroom was locking. I realized in that moment: It was Sunday.

     A visitor visits an island where two tribes live. One tribe always tells the truth and an other always
lies. The truth tellers live on the western side of the island, and those which lie live on the eastern side.
The visitor wants determine whether the native beside he is a truth teller or not by ask only one question.
He asks the native, "Go or ask the native in the distance which side of the island he lives to." When the
messenger returned, he says, "He said he lives on the western side of the island."  
     Is the messenger a truth teller or not one? How can the visitor be surely?

     Today we had the honor of invite Professor Hudson, a foreign teacher from Beijing University, to
give us an English lesson. All of us were deeply impressing by this unforgettable English lesson. The
professor began the class in a amusing English story, which attracted our attention at once. He spoke
slowly and clearly so that we could follow him well. Great inspired, most of us took an active part in
classroom activities. After class, many students being interviewed spoke highly of him. They said never
before they experienced such interesting a class. From his lesson, we came to a conclusion what it is
not so difficult to learn English whether we find a good way.
