As a high school student, I like to talk with foreigners to practise my oral English but learn more about other cultures．There were two foreign teachers in our school in this term．They often go to the English corner so that we can have a chance to practise a language．I seize every chance to talk them．However, I sometime find they are not so interesting　in what I say, and it's hard for I to choose a suitable topic．I would like some advices about how　to communicate proper with foreigners, and what topics to pick．

My school has taken on a new look since it moved into a new place．It is quite different of the old one．It used to be only one classroom building and the playground is not large enough for all the students to have sports on．Sometimes we had to practice run along the streets outside．The teaching conditions were even worst．Our teachers used to teach with only a blackboard and chalk and the experiments could only be done in the classroom．But now besides the classroom building, a modern lab building has also put into use, which all kinds of experiments can be done．We have not only a large playground and also a gym．Classes can be given by the help of computers and multimedia．What are great changes! I feel proud of my school．

How warmly the word “home” is to us! Everyone has his or her home that full of love．Homes can shelter us for wind．Whatever difficulties we meet, we often want to come back to home for help．Homes are places for parking．When we are tiring from studying or working, home is the first word appearing in our minds so we can have a good rest at home．When we feel frustrated and hopeful just like struggling in the desert, homes were like drops of water to inspire us to survive．In a word, homes offer us help when we are in the trouble; homes give us courage when we are afraid; homes present me self-confidence when we are defeated．

Time is valuable but limit．There's a famous saying, “Time is life”, this shows the importance of time．When time had gone, it will never return．It is a pity when many people make poor use of time．They spend their precious time oversleeping, drinking and hanging around．They don't realize wasting time is equal with wasting part of their life．They always regret having made little achievement so far．However, we should form the habit of value time．Do not put off what can be done today tomorrow．Laziness will not only bring us the failure, but lead us to the road to poverty and even deaths．
