almost certainly know of his book Modern Management Strategies.What is less well-known is that Professor Barnes is not just an academic, but is also a practitioner.Before obtaining his doctors degree at the University of British Columbia, he worked for several companies including IBM and ICI.The title of Professor Barness talk today is “The need for investing in human resources”.
