Their daughter Frieda was born on April l st 1960 , and their son Nicholas was born in January , 1962. Plath’s poem “ Morning Song ” expresses her feelings as her son was born . Beginning in October , 1962 , Plath experienced a great burst of creativity and wrote most of the poems on which her reputation now rests .
