Dear Mr Smith,

　　I was so pleased to hear from you and I am writing to tell you something about my village．Quite a few changes have taken place in my village, through which runs a small river with a stone bridge over it．There are new houses along the southern bank of the river．Beside the houses there is a playground where the villagers often play ball games after farm work．There is a new school which is to the south of the playground and a library to the east of the school．Also there are rice fields near the houses．A toy factory lies on the northern bank of the river．Beyond it is an orchard where all kinds of fruit are grown．

　　The villagers here are living a happy life．I hope you'll come and see for yourself some day．
