We often hear stories of animals rescued people. But now someone has managed to return the favor. The event took place on one snowy January morning where Thomas Smith was walking her dog, Jack, in the park. “As I was walking, I just saw Jack running onto the ice towards the ducks in the middle, and then he falls into the water,” said Smith. He realized he had no choice but try and save his dogs.” Finally, I got Jack by a neck and pulled him out. I don’t think of I have ever felt so cold by the time we got back to the land. When we got there, everyone was asking why Jack was okay—no one was particular worried about me!”
We often hear stories of animals rescued people可知,句中的rescued people作定语修饰animals,而animals与 rescue是主动关系,要用动词的-ing形式。
The event took place on one snowy January morning where Thomas Smith was walking her dog, Jack, in the park.
have no choice but to do…
of后面I have ever felt so cold by the time we got back to the land是个句子,而of后面只能跟名词、代词或名词性质的短语,故把of去掉。
因此把why改为if/whether。
分析句子no one was particular worried about me可知,本句中的particular在句子中作状语修饰形容词worried,修饰形容词要用副词particularly,故particular改为particularly。
