They immediately drove the cat away. Seeing that the bird was badly hurt, they gently carried it home. They bandaged it and then treated it with some medicine. From a book they learned what the bird liked to eat. They started to feed it in turn. By and by, the bird was getting better. Half a month later, it was all right again. They took it to the wood and let it fly back to nature.
